Cleaning brakes and fitting new brake seals

so my k6 gixer 600 has been sitting around for a few months now and it needs a mot,on the last one i was told i might need new seals,so im thinking of doing this myself.
is it difficult?ive fitted new oil and air filters myself, would it be a giant leap in skill cleaning out my brakes?
