Cleaning laptop keybord

How do i clean the key on my laptop's keybord so they are white again. It'sa month old and they have gone black already which sucks.

I have noidea what to use on them

Damp cloth (not dripping else you'll break the laptop!!) - preferably lint free

You could use some isopropyl alcohol if you have some as well.

If you're doing it often then there's always "alcoholic babywipes" as i call them, (probably best googled as computer cleaning wipes) but I'm guessing thats a bit of an overkill for your case.

I spent a couple of hours on saturday stripping down and cleaning out the 8 year old clunky beige keyboard i use with a cloth and some soapy water. Not a pleasant job!!

what about the dirt and dust underneath the keyboard?

You could always take the keys off, but sometimes they're almost impossible to get back on

I have some screen-cleen wipes made by AF international i nicked from work..
