Cleaning my Pipes ;)

Hi

I recentley purchased a Miltek Catback for my Trophy. It was 6 months old and by the look of it the guy wasnt took keen with his metal polish

Soooo tonight i had a quick go with some megs metal polish and very very quickly got bored. Has anyone got any tips / tricks as to how to get my pipes nice and shiny again

Wash and degrease them first, to get rid of any surface contaminants. Then use a metal polish such as Autosol with newspaper (yes that's right, newspaper) and work in small circles, then leave to dry and wipe off with a terry towel or cotton cloth.

It takes time, but it's worth the shine

i should as mine is black from overfueling/lambda problems but i dont. i dread to think what its like inside....

Autoglym metal polish and some #00 Wire Wool. Then just buff the rest off with a cloth.

My fiat has a stainless steel exhaust. After about a month it looks all tarnished and horrible. 30 seconds with autosol and its shiny again.
