Cleaning with snow foam review

I've only ever used Meguiar's Hyper Wash and have probably got a good 30 washes left in my bottle! Though once it has run out I would consider changing to use a different Foam...

I notice chipperhead said he left it for 15 minutes to dwell... is that what most people do? I only leave it on for about 2 minutes! My car's not waxed if that makes any difference.

Drying without giving it a proper wash after the snow foam is going to do your paint no favours.

Snow foam is no good as a 1 step clean.

unless you leave it to air dry and just rinse it with some clean water. How bad the water marks are will be determined by how hard your water is.

I got a lance etc after reading detailing world its all in the mixture It takes a while to get a mixture you can make work well most of mine was too runny. Helps having a decent washer aswell my uncles lidl special just isnt powerfull enough.

I use the ph neutral stuff as a pre-wash, it takes off about 80% of the grime, then I use the 3 bucket method :p after that, since using the foam, my buckets are far cleaner after washing the car.

Makes washing the quad bikes far easier too :D

Mine today after just a snow foam, then went on to wash afterwards, not the best of photos, lol. Bearing in mind, the focus was caked in grime at the back beforehand, and afterwards it looks better than some people manage on just a normal wash with their cars;

Is that finish without sponging/mitting whatever you use? Reminds me of Truck wash, hope hit isn't as harsh. Still truck wash was is donkeys years old so I bet things have improved somewhat.

Remember I controlled a fleet of Transits in white. We got a petrol pressure washer and truck wash and it wash the sealants/wax coatings out of the inside of the panels. They all had the yellow stains below the doors etc.

Went for one of these from the DW group buy a few weeks back, although havent received it yet due to the courier smashing the box up. Should be a very useful to have as part of the wash process, also means I can clean the girlfriends car without putting any effort in!

Looks great and pretty fun!

I'm now £80 lighter inc delivery :( (foam, foam lance, microfibre drying towel and bilberry cleaner)

Do snow foamers work for any pressure washer, ie: generic fittings for all pressure washers?

I quite fancy a snow foamer for my £30 pressure washer now. :D:o:o

What mixture do you use in the bottle and setting on the lance?

Super Snow Foam from CYC
and medium on the lance, also from CYC.

Nilfix 130c6 or something like that. 130bar.

It will probably stick to my car now, because i think the wax has worn off, but when its freshly waxed it doesn't cling on at all it seems
