Hopefully this makes sense! On some forums i vist, if you select 'new posts' you get taken to a list of most recent posts since last visit - same with OcUK.

However, on other sites when you click the link, it takes you to the most recent post after the one you last read; OcUK just takes you to the top of the page - is there anyway you can click on the most recent link and snap to the latest post? (i find i am re-reading posts just to get to the latest comment!)

    1st World problems, i know.

Yes from the new posts list click on the time since last post on the right. It will say 2 mins or a moment ago.

Just click the little envelope thingy?

Edit - the yellow/white icon to the left of the thread.

Mmmmm, i can't see that. But i did see after the page numbers there is an option that says "go to first unread" - that will have to do.

Clicking the envelope (red) takes you to the first unread post in the thread.

Clicking the time and date (yellow) takes you to the last post in the thread.

It even tells you when you hover over the envelope.

If it has a black dot in the centre, it means you've posted in the thread.

I knew what the different envelopes meant...just didn't know clicking them did anything different than clicking the thread title!

And if you right click "New Posts" and Copy Link Location. Then make a bookmark with that as the URL, you have a New Posts bookmark.
