We've had Creative Soundworks 740 as Clock Radios for years, but the screen is failing.

Looking to replace it. I'm sure many just use their phone. But if you do use one, what one do you use and/or like?
 
This isn't for me but the other half, and they won't use their phone like that. I've tried and they won't. Having better audio is a nice to have, but not critical. I did find the JVC RD-D80 which is the most similar to the Creative 740 with two alarms and various settings. But its bigger. Too big I reckon. Then there's the Tivoli Audio systems. Did anyone try them. The alarm seems too simple though.
