I think we should move them forward 2 hours next spring. That way we'll have daylight until 11, but it will still be light for 7.
would have totally forgot all about this tbh.Never understood how this is supposed to help as "Spring back, Fall forward" would make just as much sense.

I am working sunday, so need to getup for 6:30am, which is when I set my alarm on
(htc desire)for. I am off to bed soon and am wondering have I set it up correctly (7:30am) so I wake up to the new correct time ?
Another thought regarding this is will the phone auto change the time as in go back one hour once it hits 2am ? (this would make me late by 1 hour) any thoughts on this ? cant find anything in the settings to disable this.

.
So much for the extra hour. I woke up at 06:30.
The one time where the American naming of seasons makes sense is the memory aid about whether you move the clocks time forward or back - Spring forward, Fall back.
Screw that, this clock changing gets on my nerves. I say we should abolish the whole thing, I don't give a crap if it gets dark too early. In fact, I'm off to the 'unpopular opinions' thread right now.
Some of us have to get up early and work. Heading in to work at 5:30 during the summer and having the sun up almost makes it bearable. Are you thick? This is weird. We move the clocks back, we lose 1hour of life, so hack our bodys to be in time for the new hour.
We move the clocks forward we gain the 1hour back.
This country owes us an hour from now till they go forward?
