Clubbing what do you think of it?

Do you still go out these days?

I generally stay away from the trance nights at the moment, last one was Sensation White, gutted I missed Activa at warped tho.

I prefer hardstyle/hardcore/techno and find that the crowd at these events are so much better. You'll still get odd weirdo who takes their tops off but thats just the people who move across from UK Hardcore to the dutch stuff.

The thing is the crowds are the same every where you go for the "main" events, I'm currently in Aberdeen so see the techno/house nights here get flooded with people who know absolutely **** all about the music but the way I see it if they are there to enjoy it then I don't care.

Would much prefer to party with 300 people who were just there to dance and enjoy themselves than people who go to stand at the side and judge the DJ on what set they played 4 yrs ago at some obscure club in Berlin or Ibiza.

What happened to you, you used to like gabba :p

KaHn

Ive gone more to the side of Dub now. There isnt too much gabba in Leeds, theres a bit of hardstyle but hardly any. Gabba is a bit too brutal for me (and my mates) Some nights play a bit of hardstyle which is great but no gabba

Also the Waxon night (dub/techno/dnb) attracts some amazingly fit girls

A newcastle night is scheduled soon as a few of my mates are moving back to s-shields for a few months. Will let you and the rest of the newcastle boys know when its happening (possibly 20th Nov)

I stopped going, it's the same music everywhere and filled with a lot of unsavoury characters.

Seen too many fights by the types that go there, the bad outnumber the good.

Somehow i dont think its the same music everywhere!

You are probably going to a chain of places like Spoons, Yates's, walkabout, revolution etc

This is NOT 'clubbing' Try going to some proper clubbing events/nights. 0 fights and a different music in different rooms/tents/arenas

Use to enjoy it when I was younger, getting a lot more difficult now nevertheless enjoy when I do. JD and coke and some black Sambuca

If it's clubbing going to your average club where they play cheesy chart music and full of trashy people, then no. If it's to see a DJ/artist I like, then yes. :)

last time i went out was to watch tiesto at birmingham which was wicked. But it was a goodbye night to clubbing. The whole clubbing scene is not the same. All the music these days are just remixed in some way.Sick of hearing the same old songs.Stick with a curry and a few beers now if i go out:D
