Glass Bottle = Yummmmm!

Can = Yumm

Plastic bottle = Meh

Why is there such a taste difference? It's like a different product!
 
I like cans, agree with the OP, plastic bottles are disgusting. Can never finish a plastic bottle of pop on the rare occasion I have one.
 
Yup, cans are without doubt the worst. Glass bottles best.

I'm also a big fan of the cheap syrup and soda coke you get from pubs, although I'm probably alone on that one.

Nope, I like it too. It's definately not coke, but it's still nice.

Cans are my favourites, behind glass obviously :o
 
coca cola is lovely in most containers, i especially liked the vanilla edition. Any other form of cola drink, minus caffeine and sugar, is so nasty, as is other branded cola`s. Cans are best for me, nicely chilled.
 
OP has it spot on. I confess though, I do also quite like the syrup/mix in pubs, but only sometimes. Nothing beats a glass bottle on the beach. Well, except a glass bottle of beer on the beach, naturally :p
 
Can anyone remember the coca cola with a yellow lid that they used to sell years ago ?

It was made with a different type of sugar or something and highly addictive :p
 
Cans are the worst because of the excessive fizz, plastic bottles are better in that respect but the taste isn't quite the same as a glass bottle which is ulitimate win.
 
I think i actually know an answer to this

I'm sure a while ago there was a thing on TV about it, its something to do with the oxygen that gets released or you take in when you drink the the drink, i'm not sure of details but thats definatly what was said.

Basically this, its different ways to formulating roughly the same taste with out it going wrong in the bottle. Also different size bottles have different tastes too as the smaller ones are generally drunk quicker....

Everyone knows the order is glass, pub formula, cans, bottles.... :cool:
