COD 1.0 or 1.7 - which has more players?

I like to play well-populated S&D and TDM servers.

Will I find more of these if I upgrade to 1.7?

if you're talking about cod4.
a lot of servers are actually 1.6.
think more than 1.7 actually

Yes, I did mean COd 4 in the title.

So most servers are on 1.6? The main servers I have been playing for around 2 years seem to have stayed on 1.0 (I think so anyway - my game says 1.0.525). Am I in need of some upgrades?

I'm running 1.7, plenty of servers. I might try 1.6 and see if there are less noobs.

was on 1.5 for ages, then made the jump to straight to 1.7, same old people on both as far i could tell. What is the reasoning not to upgrade?

There is really more players on 1.6? What an odd system. I would assume everyone would be playing the newest version
