COD:Black Ops 2 ditches XP Support

I enjoyed cod waw and played it for months. I did not know that treyarch made that. I am honestly surprised that they released black ops in such a broken state if they made such a nice game of cod waw.

Apparently this time black ops 2 is going to be built for the pc. But you can go right a head and buy it, i just felt the need to remind people that last black ops was broken and I was robbed of £40.
 
8 player coop zombies sound good. WaW was a blast and the match making working great even on the zombies coop. In Black Ops we found that our of 4 of us only 1 could host a zombies session and everyone managed to get in after months of trying. 8 players will be good but hope they sort the match maker problems out in co op.

I hope they release some map tools, the base assault addon is great in WaW and some good addon zombie maps made the game worth playing for a few years.
 
Black Ops 1 worked perfectly fine for me and still does.

Think I'll end up getting Black Ops 2 on Xbox instead of PC, always seem to enjoy the cod games more on Xbox.

I've never been able to get Blops to run satisfactorily and consistently, despite well exceeding the minimum system requirements. MW2 on the other hand ran like a dream.

Some of the problems with Blops were ridiculous. I'm not the only one with fps spikes on every gunshot and ridiculous stutters with shadows on.
 
I bought all the map packs for BLOPS but everyone stopped playing them as soon as MW3 came out :( I would rather they just let everyone have them for free now.

If I do buy it I won't get any map packs that's for sure!

MW3 is the crappiest of the lot, but that's consoles for you.

I just don't understand why after CoD4 they decided to ruin the franchise.

I know and assumed everyone would come back but they never did. If I want to play I have to play the original maps only :/ I miss zoo and the hotel map
 
A lot of the maps from after CoD4 are actually really good. The map designers I'd say are still some of the best.

Too bad it's not common to find custom map servers on CoD4 with them on. T_T
