CoD2 downloads limited to 10KB/s

Are you kidding? I was downloading a new map earlier at ~24MB, it took over half an hour.

Oh, it sounds painfully slow to me. I used to max out my connection with the UO downloader.

Http redirect is in the "mythical" Punkbuster update patch for CoD2. That'll ramp up the download speeds.
This patch is due around the same time the holy grail will be discovered along with aliens landing on the White House lawn.
Why IW couldnt have put the code in from the off, i dont know.
Guess it wasnt needed for Xbox Live.
