coffee lake i5 8400/8600k or ryzen 1600?

You know this is an official statement right?
Yes, we know that from the other thread. Are you actually going to provide evidence for the claim though? It may be an official intel statement, but it doesn't prove that some chips won't reach specification. You're adding 1 + 1 and getting 3. Anyway I'm gonna leave this now, as I've seen from previous posts of yours that you don't listen to any other viewpoints, and everyone is wrong apart from you.

What speculation would you like a comment on exactly?

Why does the graphics quality look so poor?

Probably because it very high 1080p and using fxaa.

I don't have the game yet I been waiting until I get a good enough system to play it, going to grab the 8400 gta and a 1070 when I get paid.

i really hope gta does look better than that I been waiting for ages and that looks like saints row.

One word of advice,OP,I would probably wait a few more weeks for review sites to get final copies of Destiny 2 to see final CPU benchmarks and GPU benchmarks too, partly as much to see if your GTX780TI will still be fine in the final game.

Regarding PUBG,it had a patch for 6 core CPUs recently so previous benchmarks might not be accurate - but I suspect both of them will be solid enough although IIRC Intel was ahead before the big update. I think we will know for sure once we get more benchmarks released for the Core i5 8400.

However, even a Haswell CPU would probably be significantly faster than your FX6350 in both games.

Some here are very keen to push Intel, but I'd wait a little to wait for the dust to settle down.

Settle with what? Every single benchmark out there shows it's faster than the 1600 in games
He said wait for the dust to settle. People should wait for Coffee Lake's paper launch to be over, the price to come down to normality and Intel to stop playing dirty marketing tricks by trying to make out that their processors are quicker than they actually are. In short, everyone should buy a 1700, because two out of three of those things aren't likely to ever happen and the 1700 is quick enough in games + faster in multithreaded applications whilst using less power, generating less heat and having proper solder. 4K is the future anyway, where GPUs are the bottleneck. Heavily multi-threaded games are also the future, and Intel will lose their advantage there.
