Intel's U chips are normally low power, so maybe it's that? Can't imagine a stepping jump from B0 to U0, that makes no sense.

I guess the difference between the two revisions is the usage of different steppers. Stepping comes from steppers. Revision is the actual version of the printed die.
It starts with A0, with 0, 1, 2 designation can mean which steppers are being used.

My cpu (840) according to CPU-Z has stepping of "4" and revision of "A0"? Can anyone explain to me what are these?
