Cold Boot issue with P8P67

same here flashed to latest bios and the issue still persists... ive fixed everything now but each morning i need to redo ram timings its ****ing me off.

have you tried the clear cmos procedure on the asus forums? seems to have worked for quite a few on there

yes i have tried but i will try again, its my last day trying to fix it then im gonna RMA it and get a MSI board i think...

I have the p8p67 Pro and the G.Skill RipjawX 4GB ram and it works fine! I'm using the 1053, but just read there is new bios out too. I'd try taking the battery out and reflashing maybe..

I just yesterday built a PC around this motherboard and am having cold boot issues but also more worryingly the red RAM LED is coming on every cold boot.

im using a G.Skill RipJawX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit but it wont reboot until i use the memOk! button and it decides to run it at 1066mhz...

my board is a P8P67 beta 1053 BIOS im starting to wish i bought a deluxe or pro.

Good morning,

Ive just booted and guess what solid red light... i have reset the bios removed the battery the whole shebang....

I may try the to flash it back to its latest bios again, someone said there was a even newer one? Boomish i dnt have a pro just the basic im going to guess thats gonna be why im failing so much .

Thanks for the advice tho gives me faith.

Minor compared to the issues others are having here, but has anyone else had a problem with their keyboard not switching on the computer from cold?

I'm in the habit of hitting space bar in the morning to boot up and twice now it hasn't worked (I have the setting to start by pressing space in the APM section selected). Means I have to reach all the way down and press the power on button on my box - too much in the morning :)

I think there is something with my new P67 deluxe als as I use a belkin SOHO,

With my other two pc,s all is fine no tuning off,

But with this new build after 15 to 25 minutes the Keyobard and mouse seem to disconnect from the soho only a reboot fixes this then it doeas it again after a while,
