Cold called by "Car Protect" regarding a warranty?

Just found it... odd. New number, living in a different city (different country if you like) and a car I haven't laid eyes on in years. Did a reg check on it and it seems to be SORN now too... Wasn't long for this world when I sold it :)

Oh well, if a used car salesman said it, it must be true.
Seems the car dealer was telling the truth... Just had a phone call from the AA regarding my warranty with them and if i wanted to upgrade it. Just thought id come back and confirm the connection between them and the AA

The parent company of Car Protect have a license to use the AA name, it would seem.

The AA themselves are not providing the warranty.
