I will gladly pay 100% more than the vanilla game... IF THE BUNDLE is worth it.

Very few publishers know how to do "Collectors Editions".

Mirrors Edge ones had Limited Edition Fenchurch T-shirts which I thought were nice.

Value is a matter of personal opinion.

If it is just a paper map and a few DLC's, they can get stuffed.

HOWEVER, if it is like the Bioshock 2 CE then bring it on :)

Even worse I'm getting really cheesed off at some limited editions of today which don't even bother with a steelbook case and maps and just give you a code for some DLC which has minimal effect on the game.

It you mean a game that comes with a model or sound track then "No - I'm only interested in the game"

If you mean Collector editions like something that come out later with all the DLC then "Yes - Within a reasonable price"

That wouldn't be a collector's edition though, it'd be a "Game of the Year Edition" or a "Complete Edition". Collector's edition games traditionally come with physical items, like my Fallout 3 Collector's Edition came with a Vault Boy bobble head, a concept art book, making of DVD and soundtrack.

As mentioned, it depends what the limited edition actually is. Mass Effect 2 came with fancy weapons and armour that were much better than the stuff you start with... I really don't like this, or see the point in it. I want to play games that are a challenge, not spend even more money to unlock an easy mode. I've never really been one for soundtracks, I don't think a game's ever really gripped me enough to want to buy one, though I've downloaded a couple, there's some fantastic orchestral Phoenix Wright tracks that people have released.

Thanks for participating all, got to say I expected somewhat less interest in CEs but shows that if it's done right then people are willing to part with the cash for them.

Select games, which I'll pretty much pay an unlimited amount for (within reason...)
Mostly Japanese import titles which come with awesome extras.

Almost every UK one is filled with tatty junk though :p

Yes - Only select games within reasonable price
Has to be worth it though with good extras, not the crap they put in nowadays

Only certain games within a select price.

I went for the SC2 CE, cost me £50. But I was offered GT5 Signature at £120, and turned that down.
