Collectors Editions + Piracy Question

When collectors edition offer special in game items and you can acquire them via no legal methods (not ebay), does that constitute piracy?

Reason i ask is, I'm tempted to wait buying Dragon Age: Origins until the pirates release a universal key for the Collecters edition items.

What do you think?

Well the reason i ask, is the content is already in the game, you just need a special "code" to get it.

Surely that doesn't constitute piracy?

When you're supposed to pay to get that code but are getting it through fraudulent means, of course it's piracy.

The game itself is just 'code'. You are using something that you are meant to have spent more money on (Specifically the collectos edition)

and the sex game in san andreas?

rockstar had to compensate because they left it on there.

you might think you own the disc buy by law you're only entitled to view the content that the serial gives you to view, but if you're smart enough to access that content then it's their fault for keeping it on there.

Doesn't the game come with a development kit? And if that's the case, it's almost certainly possible to recreate the in-game items using the dev kit.

So I doubt they're particularly bothered with who has access to them.

who cares if your are "technically" pirating

all these collectors/pre-order bonus items/codes are nothing but a big scam anyway

It's certainly a scam for the UK CE of Dragons Age.
