colour matching between word and illustrator?

hi guys,

i'm trying to import a vector logo in eps format into word for a letterhead design, however, the colour is just not playing ball... the original is a nice subtle blue and when it gets to word it ends up as a horrible "default" blue as in an rgb of 0,0,100 kinda blue...

i have imported eps files nicely before any idea why this may not be working?

is your illustrator set to CMYK color mode? if so then switch the document profile to RGB, get the colors how you like them, then import it into word.

chances are you wont be able to achieve exactly the same colors in RGB as you could in CMYK, but thats just the way it is.
