I might be going a bit mad, lack of tea, but from the numbers below is the 240gb faster in some area's then that 480? Read speeds and iops???

My brain says the 480gb should be quicker?

You are not wrong darknite and I have double checked with the info from Kingston on the datasheet they sent across. I will check with them directly as well to confirm.

The M.2 Drives are great for small form factor builds where it can be quickly and easily mounted on the motherboard and then you have no SATA or power cables going to a 2.5" drive. Same for the PCI-E adaptor versions as well no need for cables. Helps if you like a nice neat build. While it is new technology coming out the pricing will always be high. Once they start producing them in higher quantities then the price will drop like normal SSD's
