Comment on my CV:

Theres no need to spell out your exact grades. Focus more on employment.

Something along the lines of, "Recieved 8 GCSE's and a BTEC Level 2 Award". Is adequate. Same for college.

edit: Also what you applying for?

P.E D take it out, PE who cares unless the job is PE teacher fitness coach etc?

These are just some of the decisions I make every day in my job role at IKEA. you said IKEA already.

The education bit. Just write the school then the dates.

Hookergate Comprehensive School: 2002 - 2007 (or tab it across to the side of the page)

GCSEs: English Language (C), Science (C,C), and so on.

Maybe change the two employment sections into one section. Titled Employment Experience.

Set out as.

Shop: Oct 2006 – Jun 2008 (Date tabbed to the side)
Sales Assistant
Duties: Advising customers, arranging and pricing products, merchandising shop displays, cashing up tills/banking, processing deliveries. In the manager’s absence I would organise staff duties. Training staff and inspecting their work.

Also boxes aren't too popular on CVs. Bullet points and lists like the above are.

Do you have any skills or any no academic qualifications? to put at the end?

for example I'm am a qualified target rifle instructor, not relevant to my job, but if is an example of my ability to train and take responsibility.

wowwwww weird...

Just looked at your CV, I used to work in that model shop!
I worked there from 03 - nov06. I was going to see dunky wunky this week to help clarify how long I worked there as i need it for my uni ap' I'd go tomorrow if it was not shut on wednesdays.

perhaps out paths crossed, if not it would have been by a matter of days.

*edit*
i know it;s so not important but this is what I sent to my GF moments before looking at your CV.

Rick says:
argh, ******* model shop is closeddd tomorrrooowwww

It's very informal for a CV, really ... take out things like 'Here is a list of qualifications I achieved'. Put your name at the top only - they can figure out it's a CV.

do you have any relevant IT experience? perhaps match your IT qualifications to the job description describing some key module content?

also no need to decribe that you went to secondary school just

August 2002-September 2007: Hookergate Comprehensive School

Qualifications Achieved:

Subject Grade Achieved
English Language C
English Literature C
Maths C
Science Dual Awards 2 Grade C’s
Business Studies C
Media Studies C
BTEC Sport Level 2 2 Passes
P.E D

you have a reasonable amount of space to expand your cv slightly.

as previously mentioned its a bit informal
