bbc said:Blaze disrupts railway services
Rail passengers in and out of London are facing major delays due to a trackside fire.
Southeastern, Southern and First Capital Connect services to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charing Cross and Waterloo East are affected.
The blaze in Bermondsey, south-east London, may involve gas cylinders so a 200m exclusion zone is in place.
The London Bridge to New Cross line is shut and the area in the zone has been evacuated.
Diverted trains
The train company worst affected was Southeastern, which was diverting services, where possible, into Victoria and Blackfriars stations.
The company said the fire could disrupt services for the next 24 hours.
The London Fire Brigade said it was called to the fire at a workshop under rail arches on Blue Anchor Lane just before 1000 BST on Wednesday.
About 30 firefighters and six fire engines are at the scene.
Southeastern Railway said:Major fire in South East London disrupts train services
Due to a major fire involving gas cylinders at a premises in Blue Anchor Lane in South-East London this morning, all railway lines between New Cross, New Cross Gate and London Bridge have been closed to train services.
This is likely to cause major disruption to mainline and suburban services in and out of London Bridge, London Cannon Street, London Charing Cross and London Waterloo East.
Arrangements are being made to divert as many trains as possible into London Victoria and London Blackfriars stations, and Southeastern ticket holders will be allowed to use all reasonable bus, tube and Docklands Light Railway routes to help complete their journeys.
But delays and cancellations are inevitable, possibly for the next 24 hours, and so passengers are advised to check before making journeys in and out of London.
