Depends, 10 minute drive 2-3 times a week, 30 minute drive twice a week but it's all against prevailing traffic and the latter commute is 30 miles along the 101 with the Pacific on one side and mountains on the left - there are worse commutes 
Then once a month a 300-mile round trip to Bakersfield and back (2hrs 45 mins each way) and once a month a trip to L.A. and back (150-mile round trip, 2 hrs each way - traffic yo).
That said, being paid for travel time and mileage on top makes the commute a bit easier
Being stuck in bad traffic is much more painless when you're getting paid for it
