Hello All,

A friend of mine has approached me asking for recommendations for a Compact/All in one type jobby.

Shes looking to spend £250 max really, and wants something that is good quality, easy to use, has a large screen and "appealing to the eye" (so she might prefer it if it's pink :p)

Can anyone recommend any? she really likes the look of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100.

Many Thanks

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W100

Came out top as i asked a month ago for a present for my girlfriend. After looking at reviews it's regarded as one of the best out at the moment and even has some manual controls. Also retails at around £150, leaving more money for a meaty memory stick :) My girlfriend loves it and i have to say it takes some good pictures and the video was surprisingly good quality as well.

Steve's Conclusion

"Bottom line - the Cyber-shot DCS-W100 is an awesome 8-megapixel digital package. In fact, the only compaint I had with the camera was the fingerprints on the LCD issue, and this is a common problem with most LCDs. With excellent image quality, robust performance, and versatile exposure modes, the W100 will make a great choice for anyone in the market for an "ultra-compact" pocket-rocket. With a durable all-metal body, you can be sure it will stand up to the active users lifestyle. With a price tag of US$350 at the time of this review, it offers an excellent value for compact and full featured 8-megapixel camera. "
