Hi,
I am going snowboarding in January and whilst my friend has a nice DSLR we do not want to constantly worry about having such an expensive camera in a bag on our backs, if we did fall over.
I have not had a camera for a while and while I do like the crisp quality of the DSLR's I cannot be bothered with all the lens changes to make sure I have the right focal length etc so I thought a compact camera would be best.
I have done a quick bit of research and found this Nikon P100.
My main question is has anyone used this camera or a similar one and how good is it? I did some quick research and found it has a 200ms lag time between pressing the button and taking a photo compared to my friends DSLR that has a 70ms lag time. Do you think this would make a lot of difference when trying to take "action" shots?
Or if you know of a camera that is better and in a similar price range I am open to advice.
Thanks
Nick
