Compact digital camera £200

Hello guys,

I am wanting to spend up to £200 on a camera. I am a complete utter newbie to camera's having only ever owned a phone camera.

What would be recommended?

Just been and bought a Fujifilm Finepix S3400.

Just been playing with it but ain't got a clue. Seems to be a good buy from the reviews i have read.

Canon s95 available for a tad over £200. Point and shoot with manual mode if you want to get creative

Job done. Amazing camera for the money, you won't get better than that.

Just bought one of these myself and really impressed with it.
