Company ignoring me over refund

I ordered a spare part from a company in Hayes and surprise surprise, the laptop adapter is the wrong one, is inferior in quality and the supplied power cable is the wrong one for the adapter. I have sent several e-mails requesting it be swapped, but apart from one asking for the order number, I have been ignored.

I have now sent an e-mail requesting a refund and collection of the item. There is no way I am paying to return it to them or for the item itself.

If they continue to ignore me, is my only option small claims court? I don't think a chargeback would cover this would it?

If you paid by credit card then just issue a charge back through your bank.

I think charge backs can only be done on items over £100. Small claims is an option if you think it's worth it.
