Hi,

My company is moving to a building in West Kensington (Near Earls Court, London) anyone know anything about the area?

Some parts around Holland Park are stunning, some parts around Hammersmith are not. I'd imagine you're moving to somewhere just off the Hammersmith Road just up from Hammersmith Station?
The congestion charge is coming in early next year so be prepared for an extra £40 a week if you drive by the way:(

Can be a hole! West London is overrated tbh.

For work though shouldn't be too bad although I wouldn't like to suffer the district/circle line every day. Think of all the groccles!

Think its based quite near the tube station.
It's not too bad there, there's plenty of cafes, restaurants & coffee shops, it's pretty much the same as any other high street just more expensive. If you can find out which road you're going to I might be able to tell you more :)

It's in Kensington Village just off Avonmore Road

Some great bars and cafes, impossible to park, easy access to tube / bus / central London / full of temp. employment agencies, full of interesting nationalities.

Full of Aussies, Kiwis, Saffers and hookers.

But it does have it's downsides.

Its not that bad a place tbh, some nice cafes/restaurants there but tbh i dont spend much time there. From what i have heard, its not exactly cheap for accomodation either.
