Ok the thread just below as made me want to reinstall this game and reply it, I got it years ago when i had a crappy PC I really enjoyed the game play even though graphically I was playing it low.

Anyway just found my disc out went to look for updates and im a bit confused, as the official site loops you round and round to the demo instead of updates when you click the tab.

So what patches do I need in what order ? I have the dx10 update disc do I skip all then go to that and then go past that ?

Also any bugs etc Still left round or added I should be aware of when playing ?

From retail version, or does it need to be patched to a certain number first. Havent started patching yet as I remember it got quite complicated and if anything went wrong it had to be started all over again :(
 
indeed go online and it will fulfill your deepest desires.

Or install the patches you need in order -- one or the other!! :)

From vanilla, you've got about 6 patches and 4 restarts to do by the way ... just keep going back into multiplayer until it stops moaning about needing another patch!

On a 56k dial up modem, maybe!
That wasn't my experience at all, I was up and running in at most 15 minutes using the ingame patching doohickey and I'm only on 10mb virgin cable line.
 
I've just got back into this and loving it again, but yeah, patching was a complete nightmare.

20 patches, just under 4Gb!

Still, back in to it now and it's great. May get the add-on for like £6 and play as the good 'ol Brits! Tally Ho! :D
