Dose anyone do this?

Completing a game before they go out and buy a new one.

Ganna trying it with my DS LITE. Atm I have got Hunters and Trauma Center.

Ganna try and complete these 2 before I get some more.

Thanks Luke

This is a trap I fell into with the PC - I've got loads of games sitting on the shelf which are typically half-finished.

I don't want to fall into the trap with the 360 and it's probably unlikely at £40 a game! You want to get the most out of it so I suppose it's quite good when the devs put in achievements for "normal" mode and "hard" mode. That way you end up playing the game twice to get all the achievements.

I bought Oblivion, Tomb Raider, GR:AW and FarCry (360) all around the same time. Only managed to complete Tomb Raider inbetween playing Oblivion. FarCry I tried for about five minutes and GR is still in the cellophane. :o

And I started Fahrenheit on the PC before I even bought any of those - it's still unfinished! Think I might start persevering a little more before shelling out again...

i always say i will buy these ones and finish them before i get anymore, then a week later ive probs bought another two games and only just started the original two i had lol :p just cant help the temptation of a new game :)

no, i play games for fun, not to complete them. if i happen to complete a couple along the way, it tends to disappoint me because there's no point playing it anymore. i'm not one for going through and finding EVERY SINGLE HIDDEN THING. i haven't got the patience

If I don't have a lot of money I say I'll complete it before buying a new game but then I get bored with it or a better game comes out that I feel I have to buy

Cant say I've done that since the days of SNES & Megadrive & basically only then because I was on paperound money & meant I couldnt buy a new game each week so each one had to last around 4-6 weeks while I saved enough to buy a new one.
