Hi folks :p

Having just got my living room set up the way I want it with my Xbox 360, HD DVD player, Pending BD player and brand new Samsung HD TV the next step it a decent sound system as the only speakers are the ones on the TV.

I have a Dolby pro logic stereo system but would like to keep it a bit neater than that to be honest. I guess I'm asking for opinions on what would make a decent begginer setup? i don't know much about amps or AV equipment but am just after a not too fancy 5.1 digital surround sound system. Living room is average size, prob 15' x 12'.
My Samsung HD TV has a digital out if that can be put to good use?

EDIT: TV = Samsung LE32R87BDX

The recent thread on this sort of thing ended up reckoning you probably need to spend £100 more to get something decent.

You could go for a Sony all in one system or Panasonic or Samsung and be perfectly happy for a hundred or so less but it won't offer you the future expansion you might want.

Take a look at the thread that post comes from (its on page 4 at the moment)
