Comply Tips?

Hi guys,

I use these with my Soundmagic E10s but after having the 3 sets in the pack they start to split and deteriorate.
Anyone else had this problem? I have the Comply Tx-400, any other alternatives that are decent?

yup same problem I had with Ultimate Ear comply last a while but fall apart. And they're not cheap either. You wouldn't mind if they were 20p a pair.

What do you think of the silicon tips? The small ones are perfect

Im not a fan, I like the seal which the comply ones give compared to silicon ones

Could get copies from the auction site, a lot people. £1 a pair which is better.
Now to find correct ones for UE triple fi and Soundmagic E50

Comply will never last as long as silicon tips due to the materials used, they are not supposed to last more two to four weeks, depending on usage.

Agreed. The motion of squeezing the foam and expanding within the ear is always going to deteriorate unfortunately.

Can't really fault the sealing and comfort of the comply tips. Worth the money imo.

Not really. The comply have an inset plastic sleeve that fits tight over the driver. Also the anti wax versions have a mesh inside the hole.

I got a pack of three of these for my atomic floyd super darts and they just deteriorate to quickly.

Mine lasted ages I think they only broke apart after i accidently got them wet

I'm still on the first of the 3 in a set of mine which i bought in September last year. The first is still perfect.

I use InAirs on my Soundmagic E10Cs as they're a little cheaper (£10 for 5 pairs iirc)
Still on the first pair after about 6 months and no signs of wear.
