Hi, a firend of mine is wanting to build a new PC with a budget of around €1000 mainly for gaming with some slight use for work/virtual box. I listed some components below of what i thought should do the job but feel free to give me any recommendations. (i left the case out as it is more of a personal choice)

Intel Core i5-9600K - £259.99
Gigabyte Z370P D3 Intel Core Z370 - £119.99
Be Quiet System Power 9 500W 80 Plus Bronze - £54.95
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C16 2666MHz Dual Channel Kit - £99.95

back away from the Gigabyte z370, or any Z370!

uk rma and warranty on the Gigabyte parts. vega only has 2 year warranty =/

others should help with ryzen based version :)​

Ohh nice thanks for the systems you have speced, you think a 500w PSU will not be enough?

Bequiet 9 isn't a good quality unit. 11 series is different though ! 500w would be fine for gtx 1660ti but 550w give a little wiggle room (depending on quality if unit)

Also it's 3/5 yrs warranty Vs 7 !

Would pay the extra for Gigabyte if based In UK for RMA support

Cooler isn't enough to cool that 9600k, will be working overtime. One I listed would be mindful recommend
