If i want to offer the above services in my local area.

What exactly do i need to do to do this?

Been told i need to register self-employed

Also that i need public liability insurance etc...

How do i go about getting the ball rolling on this?

Also, what prices do you think people would be prepared to pay for -

A computer (hard not to generalize this) People are prepared to pay that purple shirt wearing place so anything cheaper than that with good after support and warranty?

Repair of the operating system?

Simple network installation?

Demonstration/lessons of how to use Windows/Word/Email?

Thanks guys,

Andy

Thanks matey, i can always rely on you for some information :D

It's just, as of late i've had a fair few people come to me with problems etc... and i've been paid fairly well ex - £25 for fitting a graphics card and installing drivers (30 minutes work)

Can i not test the waters or anything before i jump straight in and sign off of JSA etc...?

Thanks,

Andy

Hows your studying going btw?

Edit: Do you ever see anything right the way through?

My studying is going good and i hope to have done my exams by April

Yes, i see a lot of things right the way through.

I did 2 years of college without giving up for one.
