computer components shortage?

I guess what is going on in Japan really does put into context every ones daily stresses and the like, however

I am curious, what with manufacture of computer chips currently being shut down, i wonder how much of an affect it will have on supply of components over here? - for me the affect would be my motherboard replacement..

Hopefully not too bad or at least won't work it's way through to retail for a while. I have a lot of stuff still to buy!

I think it could mainly effect supply of high quality Japanese capacitors that motherboard makers rave about... though I haven't read any cap factories being closed down, more about the human tragedy unfolding
