Configuring a Router Firewall?

Hi guys, ive got a Netgear RP614V2 here, just been reading about it, read up that it apparently has a built in firewall, but so does my Netgear DG834G but that has an option down the left to configure it/know its there.

Does any one have any input on how to confirm my RP614V2 is actually doing an ok job?

The default settings on these things will usually block all incoming traffic and allow all outgoing traffic - probably ok for most peoples needs.

Yes this is how my DG834G is configured, but i cant even see this on the RP614V2.
