Configuring Windows 2000 and XP

Hello,
I would like to share files on my XP home system with my Windows 2000 system.

I have a Netgear DG834GT 108Mbps Wireless ADSL Modem Firewall Router with 4-port 10/100 switch with Firmware Version 1.02.09.

I only use wired connections.

What is the best way I can do this?

right click on the file in XP and go to sharing and security, enable sharing on that folder.

On the 2000 machine go to my computer and type\\XP computer name or IP goes here should appear as a shared folder.

Make sure they are in the same domain or workgroup and make sure ** firewall is set up to allow file sharing
