I've got a friend interesting in buying my old e6600, and he has the p5n32.
A few people have told him it doesn't support core2duos, plus the instruction manual only says it supports up to Pentium Ds.

However I'm sure I have seen a few people saying they use this board with a core2duo, and the Asus website says it is supported.

Just want to confirm to save any hassle.

Cheers for any replys.

It does support C2D's.

But because it's nForce4 it will only overclock to around 320-330mhz if you're lucky.

Yup thats right. i have one right now running e6300 @2.34ghz. Great board with sli and all but a solid brick wall for the fsb overclocks. 340 if u r really lucky.

I suggest look for other p5n32 variants.

Cheers guys it worked fine.

My mate already had this board and wasn't sure whether the core2duo he was buying off of me would work in it.
He's not planning on overclocking, so its fine for what he wants :)
