just a sanity check here

I was trying to upload a picture but did not work

I got a setup where the water cold is connecting to a 15mm tee.

3 way device thing -

- mains water
- kitchen tap
- washing machine

I'm looking to get a dishwasher it's a new one never had one before
what do i need to connect it to the cold water supply?

I was thinking:

- 15mm pipe
- 4 way tee
- isolation valve
- one of those silver flexible hoses

am i on the right track? Can't seem to find the 4 way tee
still looking though.

leave the existing T in place.

Install another above it in place of the tap isolator.

Reattach the tap isolator to the top of the new T.

Connect the new pipework and isolator valve for the dishwasher to the other outlet on the new T.

Don't do anything until you've seen the dishwasher connector. They often have anti-flood devices on them that are quite large and may need to be installed in a specific orientation.

also with your method - that means that anytime I'm using the sink and the dishwasher the water to the sink will be reduced

that's the normal right? no way around it by the looks of it damn
I might put this on hold now was hoping to get something in the black friday sale.

Can't tell from the picture.

Depending on the placement you may be able to replace the existing washing machine outlet with a twin version:-

https://www.screwfix.com/p/compression-appliance-tee-brass-x-x-15mm/24030

or even a simple Y connector:-

https://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-y-piece/81000

so there are many options

can I use the first one in place of the cold water tap to the sink? the washing machine connector is on the other side of kitchen almost

it is the cold water connector to the kitchen tap you see in the picture on the LHS
