Hey guys. I'm trying to connect a HD TV to my laptop. Laptop is quite old and doesn't have a HD slot but does have VGA. I bought a VGA to HDMI cable thinking that would be enough but it hasn't worked and I've since read that the signal can't be converted on it's own and you need to buy a box that will do that. Also heard they aren't cheap.
Done a quick search but I'm not exactly sure what it is I need, whether it will work and what the cheapest price I can get box for is. Just looking for a bit of help really.
