I currently have a ati radeon hd 4670 it has hdmi port and the tv i am connecting it to is a 50'' Samsung plasma. No Success yet :(

Using the HDMI out on the card to HDMI in on the Plasma?

Chosen the correct HDMI input on the tv?

it might be a setting in the CC if you are running it with a monitor too, if you are just connecting to a tv then unless its a faulty cable or you have it set to the wrong hdmi socket on the tv then it should just auto detect and work as normal.

you have to enable the second display in your graphic options & select clone or extend desktop.
Right click on your desktop and select cat control center or nvidia options and goto displays.

On windows 7, just right click desktop and click "Screen Resolution"

Then go down to "Multiple Displays" and choose whichever one you want.

If you are using Windows 7, a good shortcut is the Windows Key and P, that should bring up a list of the devices you can switch to.

For example I have:

Computer Only
Duplicate
Extend
Projector Only.

I'd recommend choosing EXTEND and this will put your desktop over to your TV also.

Cheers dude, didn't know that, just gone dual screen myself, handy short cut :D

I would aviod using Plasma when using PC cos it getting hot - recommend is LCD TV which stay coolder and excellent for PC mode with HDMI.

Anyway you can plug from DVI (PC) to HDMI (TV) that would enable itself - I used 4m of Belkin PureAV DVI to HDMI into my 40" LCD TV and set at 1920x1080p look very good as very clean picture - I used Nvidia driver and then refersh WEI then automatic the screen size..
