Contract found (I think), now which phone?

Following on from my ubermini-saga with my completely wrong phone contract, I've managed to work out the best option for me to resolve it.

Firstly, I have 11 months left to be billed on my Vodafone contract. I cannot change down to the minimum package until I have just 9 months left, so "effectively" to end this contract will cost £40*2mo + (£20/1.175*9mo) = £233.19.

To have this contract fully cover my usage for the remainder of the contract, it will cost £54*11 = £594.

T-Mobile's Internet offer of the moment is Flext 25 + web'n'walk for £20 for the first 3 months, and then 15 months at £27.50. Total cost £472.50.

£472.50 + £233.19 = £705.69

This is £111.69 extra than just sticking with my current contract, but the £111.69 gets me a new phone, and 7 months worth of line rental.

Now the background is out of the way, what do I use my phone for? Well, I like to listen to music on it (This must be through my standard 3.5mm jack headphones - no proprietary connectors) and browse the web well through 3G. It's odd that my current N80 does just that, but the N80 blows. I'd like an SE phone, as I find them very "nice" to use, but I'm not sure which can best suit my needs.

With the contract I have chosen, I think the obvious big players available are:

Sony K800i
Sony M600i
Sony W810i
Sony W850i
T-Mobile MDA Vario II

What seems most suitable? Help :(

Friend has a w810i which is quite nice, havent had much of a play with it, but i got a Samsung D900 for christmas, which is a quality phone - wouldnt discount that from your choices - cant be much more helpful than that, and saying its a cracking phone :)

For web browsing, the best phone on that list is the SE M600i or the MDA, although if T-Mobile do it, the best phone for your needs would be the SE W950i, which ticks all the boxes and has 4gb of memory :)

I've got the Sony W850i and it will do everything you want except that it uses proprietary connector for the headphones. However the supplied headphones are of good quality. Had no problems so far.
