I'm considering going down this route for my next car, mainly cos of the seemingly good deals around atm and the tax advantages as a business user.

Main thing niggling me tho is having no experience i'm not sure what level of wear they count as acceptable at the end of term.I guess this will vary a lot between firms, but advice from anyone experienced would be much welcome

Ta,in advance

There is a recognised standard for lease returns - I think its the BVLRA that publish them.

Minor scratches and stone chips are classed as fair wear and tear, any sort of panel damage or paint damage will be chargeable. Interior damage such as fag burns, tears or broken trim also tends to charged back.

In my experience the big companies tend to be realistic and won't charge for anything minor, especially if you've have other vehicles from them. Some of the smaller providers, especially on short term deals will charge you for anything required to bring the car up to retail standard.
