Hi all,

Where I work we have a forced desktop wallpaper that I am sick of :D

Is there a way to quickly improve it or change it so I don't get in trouble but it isn't so dull and ancient?

I have attached it here

I thought if I could just change it to a black background with the lightning it would look a lot nicer but my first attempt was crap :o

Any ideas on a good way to do it ? btw I use Paintshop Pro not Photoshop so my skills are limited anyway.

Thanks,

I've done it, but posting it would be breaking the copyright law on the company logo, so i won't :)

Theres no real simple way to do it, if you change the photo to a negative and lower the levels you will achieve a black background, then just use the select tool on a 2px feather, and then change the colour of the text back to orange. (Negative will change it to blue).

and LOL at that.

Well that came out sucky as the text got messed up with the re-touching.

And I like PSP 7 it does the job I need easily :p

Though it doesn't give me the skill you guys have lol but thats why I'm here.

How about a black background with some lightning on, can someone do that for me easily and I'll worry about applying the logo? ;)

Cheers,
