If you get some time, watch this: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/coppers/4od#3134011

I think it portrays a custody suite pretty well. The 'poem' at the end is rather sad though.

And here is our 'poet':

did anyone see last nights? traffic police i think it was.

man it started off all light hearted and really portraying the different characters who are in our police force and then went proper heavy really quickly with all the car crashes and deaths, had chills when they showed the firefighters cutting those people out of the car

...pretty shocking what they have to do on a regular basis and still maintain some sort of sanity.
i was impressed that the police office had the balls to say on camera that he thought the sentencing was completely screwed up for criminals.

its nice to see such an open and honest documentary series for once, instead of just 'heres a copper in a car look at him trying to chase another'

This is how traffic goes. One minute your having a laugh about something silly and the next you see a car in a ditch with a dead driver.

Not seen the second ep yet but really enjoyed the first one, I don't know why because it was like watching a day at work. Hope it opens some peoples eyes to the kind of crap and sad individuals we need to deal with on a daily basis.

I'm sure this must be done by the same production company that did the recent 'The Hospital' documentaries for Channel 4, as the production values and style are very similar.
