I have just backed my HD up to a spare drive using maxblast which first formats and then copies all files onto second sata drive (mirror) when I rebooted with the new mirror it said I have to ring microsoft to register with in 3 days.
As its a clone of my orig drive why is the software requesting this action?
I have had to go through this before after several crashed HDrives after reloading windows several times.
What I want to avoid is rebuilding the system software from scratch when I OC my system and it buggers up the system driver files and wont load.
XPis an oem version of xp sp 2 fully updated
