Are there any reviews or performance results for thr Core i9-7920X as yet?

There's no point getting anything more than 7820X/1800X unless you do some heavy encoding/rendering type of work.

I will be running 15 - 22 vms and recording the sessions to make tutorials to post on youtube....

My biggest issue is memory, 64GB is not enough 128GB would be...

Wait, what? Does the 7920x only support up to 64gb?

EDIT:- OCUK product page say up to 128gb.


Why are Intel being so quiet about their new fastest processor - surely they'd be a bit of a fanfare, no?

Was responding to the quote why i will not use ryzen 7.... It looks like i will go for the 1950x threadripper.

how many vm,s can a 7820x run just out of curiosity

My kubernetes cluster currently just has 32GB Ram assigned to it, want to give it 64GB ram, but cant due to other vms.
