Ok, I have already ordered myself a corsair 600T, it will be replacing my current Thermalrake Armour case.

I have been reading about and it seems the 1 problem that has the most comments is the airflow of the 200mmx20mm fans.
(If anyone knows the ACTUAL airflow performance of these I would be grateful!)

What I'm thinking to improve this is this:

Removing the top 200mm fan and replacing it with 2x 120mm fans. (Possibly Noctua NF-P14's
Would this be a good solution to remove more air from the case?
Does anyone know of any other tips for improving airflow in this case?

Much Appreciated,
Phil

try not to read too much about the airflow comments in the 600t. Its a very quiet case. From what I've gathered if you run crossfire/SLI set up then the case might get toasty. So with that in mind, Corsair now have released a side panel with mesh/window option to go with your 600t. its a lovely case, with great support

mmm, to be honest. What I have actually ordered is the Special edition White 600t which comes with the windows/mesh side panel.
If I can atall help it I want to keep the window on NOT the mesh, as i would like to see the nice tidy build at all times :)

You can see my system specs in my signature, and FYI the CPU cooler is currently a AC Freezer 7 V2, although I am considering getting one of the corsair H series to replace it in the new case.

I still think it would be a good idea to replace atleast the rear fan with the noctua if possible, just because the airflow is that much higher.

Also I think when I get the case I will remove one Hard Disc cage, and place the other one in the slot further towards the PSU, this un-obstruct the front fan for now. Though this would be an issue if I decide to get more Hard Disks.
I currently only have 3.

I would think this case would be a good improvement to my current Thermaltake armour VA8003 BWS which I have had for a number of years.

Ive the bog standard 600t coming from a antec 1200 and very pleased with it so far.

I have a i7 @3.8 and temps are pretty good, i ran prime 95 for 4 hours and the temp maxed at 63°C hottest core.

I have also taken out 1 drive cage also don't need it atm.

I have a 5870 which does seem to run hotter when gaming around 10°C i just use afterburner to raise the fan speed.

A few have changed the front fan which i think i will do at some point, i have already changed the top 200mm fan for 2 120mms and they sit in the space above the case and looks a lot tidier aswell.

Cable management is really good on the case aswell, the look of it does not appeal to some but so far i'd give it 8/10

I would recomend a H50 over the AC Freezer 7 V2, which is what I had. You'll really notice the difference in playing games, where by the fans would ramp up (especilay in Battlefield BC2) and make a racket. With the H50, none of that.

See how you get on with the H50, use push pull set up (120mm fan either side of radiator, try as exhast or intake. I wouldn't worry about changing the 200mm fans till u try that

What I have actually ordered is the Special edition White 600t which comes with the windows/mesh side panel.

WHERE FROM? Lol ive been trying to get my hands on that case for the last 2 weeks. Some people say its getting delivered tonight. My build is waiting for it, getting impatient lol.
