Corsair 650D

here are a few pictures of the person who was lucky to get a 650d so early.

Whats that box under the HDD Rack? Is it purely just a stand off to easily pull out the bottom half of the rack?

hmm looks possible to cut a hole in the bottom and put another dual rad in there and have the HDD rack under the bays.

makes me regret buying my raven 02 to an extent :(

I so cant wait now, my fractal R2 is too cramp for all my kit. Got some spare dosh after clearing out a load of stuff and selling it on the feeBay so I might get a new GPU to go with it ;)

Yeah my Fractal R3 is looking a big cramped lately, looking for something a bit more spacious. It's this or maybe the raven RV03

Fractual XL looks the next choice but I do admit this 650d looks stunning, that new raven does look cramped.

Its a shame the fractual R2/R3 are pretty much same design but tad cramped, im hoping the fractual xl prooves a real upgrade.

Nice 1 khemist, got I niggle about it after seeing that is you can only use a 200mm fan in the front yet in the top you can replace 200mm with either 120mm or 140mm ones.
Minor point tho.

good point.

if you can change the top fans then why cant you change the front one's ?

i wish case manufacturers would take a little more time in designing case's.

would be awesome to have different fans in the front as well.

im still getting it though :)

Just been doing some further research. Turns out the large narrow fans use shallow blades which are poor at shifting air. The top ones can be replaced with standard 120's but the front one is going to be a problem.

Cooling looks like it might be the downfall of this case.

You think they would have learned the fan errors from the 600t, the 200mm fans in the 600t are rubbish.

Can't comment on the ones in the 650d they are a different design but still only 20mm thick and probably just as poor at shifting air, stupid really.
