Corsair Dominator 6400 2*1gb (yellowbeard)

I upgraded to a conroe a few weeks back and bought my trusted brand geil. I could only afford 2*512mb at the time, with a view to updating when I get paid on the 26th dec. Anyway, I've been reading about a slew of problems with Geil - and although I have a working set at the moment (after an RMA) I'd rather not risk getting another set and having more problems. Anyway - does the above ram work OK in the Gigabyte DS3?

Iam in the same boat as u mate, not sure i wanna play russian rulette with more geil. Any other recommendations for 6400 ram at the price of the geils in ds3 with f7 bios?

Can you change brands if i rma the geils? :mad:

A word of warning, though, my ram (XMS2) was listed as supported for the DQ6, turned out that stock volts were too low for the ram.

yeah have read severa things baout the stock volys prob. and that you had to stick crapper ram in wich use less volts just to get in bios and up the voltage before putting the good tsuff in
